A little Information...

So I thought I would take a few minutes and share some details about my items.  All of my items are handmade by me. So what does that mean?  It means that there may be some imperfections and there is no two things that are exactly the same.  I like variety so I love to play with color combinations and textures.  Two patterns you will see a lot from me are polka dots and zebra stripes!

Flower Clips ~
My flower clips are alligator clips that are velvet lined to help them stay put in even the finest hair.  They come in several different sizes.  I have the Mini Clip (that is either a circle or a flower shape), a Medium Clip (that is roughly 3 inches in diameter), and a Large Clip (roughly 4 inches in diameter).  I am still playing with different types of flowers but here are a few pictures...

Head Bands ~
All of the head bands are wrapped in grosgrain ribbon with coordinating colors. The flowers are not interchangeable at this time.  I am currently on the search for some interchangeable cotton headbands.  I will keep you updated on that.

 Beanies ~
At this time I have Beanies available in light pink or white.  I can attach any size flower to it, but my favorite are the minis and the Large flower.  When I attach the mini's they are sewn on, so they are not interchangeable. The Large flower is interchangeable, so once your little one grows out of the beanie she can wear the clip in her hair!

Big Girl Variety ~
Having somewhat short hair myself, I am always looking for ways to change up my hair style or dress it up a little.  In doing this I have fallen in love with wearing headbands and flowers in my hair.  I am having a blast playing with different fabrics (i.e. Satin, Chiffon, Organza, and so on) and beautiful beads.  I can attach these flowers to a comb, clip(I can wrap in velvet to help those with fine hair like me), or a bobby pin.  I have supplies in the mail right now to try a new headband that I am super excited to share with you as soon as I get one made.  I am also wanting to make a ribbon necklace with flowers and these adorable shoe clips.  Until then here are a few pictures of what I have done....

Tutu Costumes ~
I also am offering custom order tutu's.  I have several dress up costumes to choose from.  I have a Bumble Bee, a Lady Bug, and Minnie Mouse.  To help celebrate a special birthday, I have a Cupcake Tutu and a Zebra Stripe themed Tutu.  I haven't finished all of my samples, so check back soon for pictures.  I am also doing high school or college team colors.  Here is one that I did for the sweet little Gabriella (I learned my lesson with glitter tulle and no longer offer it)...

Tote Bags ~
This is a future hope of mine.  I am an amateur when it comes to the sewing machine.  So for right now I am trying mine out and seeing how it holds up. I want to make sure it will hold up to normal wear and tear and that it will make it through the washer.  I thought I would put it out there and see what feedback I got on them.  They are a little time consuming, but oh so cute.  They are reversible and the flower snaps on so you can move it to the other side if you want!  :o)

Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.  Please feel free to email me at littleboocreations@gmail.com or leave a comment with any questions or comments you might have!

Overwhelmed....

Pictures are from my Collegiate Collection!!!

I have to say that there has been many days over the past few weeks, where I felt like taking everything down and throwing in the towel.  I think this comes from my lack of self confidence and the very negative thoughts that are running through my head...But the support that I have received has been overwhelming.  I have got a ton of positive feed back from friends and family.  With all this support I can't wait to share all my creations with others.

UGA Ribbon Wrapped Headband!

The last couple of weeks have kept me busy coming up with new ideas, trying new fabrics, and new techniques to make everything just perfect!  I have so many ideas in my head that I just can't wait to get up the next day to try them.  Of course with all these ideas comes the task of finding the supplies at the cheapest price out there so I can keep costs down and pass them on to others.

UGA Clip (Velvet Lined Clip)

I am also looking for some cute ideas for boys.  I am looking forward to making a shirt for Boo~Boo's 2nd birthday and seeing how it turns out!  If you have any ideas let me know and I would love to figure out how to do it and see how it turns out!

GA Tech Ribbon Wrapped Headband

I have started putting pictures up on my Facebook page along with some pricing.  I am researching other methods of selling my things at the moment.  I am hosting a Grand Opening at my house for close family and friends coming up in February.  Then the first weekend in March I hope have a booth at the Woodstock Market and Show.  I have a lot of work to be done before then...so there will be a lot of late nights and coffee drinking going on at my house!  :o)

Tomorrow I hope to blog a little about my creations and what I can do to make something special for your little one!
