(Very) Thankful Thursday!

Today is Thankful Thrusday...here is how it works!  I have so many people that I want to say "Thanks" to that I want to take some time to highlight each of them!  At the same time I want to say "Thanks" to my loyal readers so at the end of each post I will run a sale!

My Hubby & Me

Today I have to thank my husband.  He really is my biggest cheerleader.  He is my best friend, soul mate, and any other word you can think of.  He is the best daddy and husband there is.  He is quick to smile and has a corny joke for all occasions.  He is strong yet sensitive, kind and gentle, loving, and full of life.  He knows all my secrets and yet he still loves me and believes that I can do ANYTHING!!!  We have made some scarifies for me to be able to stay at home, but not once has he complained.  He  just keeps on supporting me in all I do.

From the moment I mentioned Little Boo he has been there holding my hand and cheering me on.  He has spent countless hours helping me with different things that I have needed.  I call him the CFO of Little Boo...he helps me with all the numbers and business part.  I handle all of the creative parts, although he has helped out a time or two in the creative part.

I am so thankful for him.  I really do not know where I would be without him in my life!  He really is my other half!  :o)

Daddy & Boo building me a light box!

So in honor of him anything in the team sprit collection is 20% off!  That includes headbands, regular clips, mini clips, Hats/Beanies, and team color tutu's!  Sale ends tonight at 11:59 pm!!!

Please e-mail me @ littleboocreations@gmail.com with any questions or orders!  Thanks!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday!

I offer cotton beanies in light pink, hot pink, or white!  The clips are interchangeable.  There are two reasons for this...making it so you can change with the outfit and they grow with your little one.  They are $13 each (beanie & flower) or 1 beanie and 3 clips for $25.

Happy Wednesday!!!

TuTu Tuesday!!!

Ladybug...Ladybug how cute are you?  This specific tutu is size 6-12 months and made with 50 yards of red tulle.  To make it a Lady Bug, there is black pom poms on it!  :o)  For 3+ I can do Black buttons instead of the pom poms! I have it on good authority (from a 5 yr old) that she likes the way the buttons "click" when she sits down!  :o)  To finish it off there is a black satin bow!  Pair with some leggings and a black shirt and you will have the cutest little lady bug!

Shoot for the Moon...

First I have to say that I am so sorry I never got to Thankful Thursday!  My week kind of ran away with me!  :o)  But I promise I will make up for it!  Now on to Motivation Monday!

"Shoot for the MOON even if you miss you will land among the STARS"!

This has been one of my favorite quotes for a while now!  I have always been one to limit myself on things that I "think" I can do and do good.  I have always played it pretty safe and when the going gets tough I have to be honest and say that I am really good at walking away no matter how much I wanted it.  Since starting Little Boo I have been trying to change my attitude and really focus on my "Why",  my why am I doing this? Besides the fact that I am totally in love with the fact that I get to be creative all day I am doing this as a way to get to be home with my boo (and any future children God blesses us with).  That is my true "Why"!

From now on I am shooting for the stars!

I have a busy week ahead of me! I will be back at Woodstock Market & Show this weekend!  So far the weather is looking good, but we will see! I have 3 new creations that I am hoping to finish this week, but we will see.

I also got some GREAT news last week.  My friend Amy put me in touch with a photographer that is going to do a photo shoot for me of all my tutu's.  I can not wait!!!  I will share more details with you as they unfold!

Have a great week and don't forget to shoot for the STARS!!!

Thankful Thursday Postponed!

So I am a little behind!  Thankful Thursday will be up tomorrow on Fun Friday!  Make sure to check back tomorrow so you don't miss the 20% off item!  :o)

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday!

First I have to say Happy Birthday to Nana (my mom) & my Niece Taylor (She is 2 today)!!!  Now on to the picture...this is a cute gift basket I did for my Niece's schools fundraiser!  It turned out so cute I have decided that I will now offer gift baskets!  They are so fun and cute!  The only difference is I now use Chinese takeout boxes ( I found some with animal print)!!!

TuTu Tuesday!!!

Bzzz Bzzz...Here comes a Bee!  I had so much fun making this tutu!  It is 4 layers of alternating Black and Yellow.  This specific one is 12-24 months and would come to their knees.  It is made with a little over 50 yards of tulle with a black satin bow to finish it off.  It comes with a matching flower and headband.  Pair it with a black top and leggings and you have the perfect little bee costume.  I have also seen some Bee stripped leg warmers that would be "tutu" cute with it!  :o)

Happy Tutu Tuesday!

Motivation Monday #2

I recently got involved in the world of Twitter and through that I have found some really cool blogs that are written by some really cool people!  One of the coolest ones has been Ashley from The Shine Project.  I can't even tell you how I stumbled upon this blog, but I am SO glad I did!  It is hard NOT to get motivated after reading about The Shine Project!  So for Motivation Monday I wanted to share it with you!  Plus she has these weekly challenges that can help us all work on really shining!  So PLEASE make sure that you check it out!

Picture is from The Shine Project Blog
Ashley has these cool necklaces for sale on her blog with $1 from each one going to a GREAT cause!

How did it motivate me?   It made me really start to think about what I want from Little Boo Creations.  How do I want to Shine???  Little Boo has already given me so much!  So far I am loving the creativity of it all!  I have loved the time I get to just be creative and play with the ideas I have or that Friends & Family are sending me!  Plus there is potential for me to contribute to my family, by doing something that I really love and still getting to stay at home with my Boo.  But the real thing that Ashly helped me realize is that I also want to do something bigger with Little Boo Creations, that goes beyond me!  I want to be able to give just as much as Little Boo has given me.  So one of  my goals for this week is to pick one of my creations or create something special that a certain $$$ amount will go somewhere special!  I have a couple of things that are close to my heart so I plan to take some time and narrow it down to one (for now) and find a charity/foundation to contribute it to!

My other goals for this week are to really get some work done.  The Woodstock Market & Show is creeping up on me.  I have not got a lot done in the last couple of weeks...I have been really just hanging with Boo and trying to get him healthy!  :o)  So this week I want to....
  1. Get 5 Tote Bags Done
  2. Place my Ribbon Order
  3. Work on some Zebra Headbands (Really this is for myself)  :o)
  4. Finish a Flower that my Aunt wants!
  5. Finish my Niece's B-day gift
  6. Get more pictures up for ALL the collections!  :o)
I am thinking it is going to be a busy week!  :o)  Now to go and hang with Boo!  Enjoy your Monday!  Now lets all go out and SHINE!  :o)

Fun Friday!

I hope that everyone enjoyed their week!  I am SO glad it is Friday!  I have to be honest and say it was not a very productive week for me!  I did get pictures of my Tutu's taken and up, so if you haven't yet, make sure to check them out!  I have started working on one of my creations and have half of it done!  I can't wait to share it! Other than that I have been hanging with my Boo!  One thing I did want to share with you is that earlier this week Ann from My Milwaukee Mommy did a review on my Minnie Mouse Tutu!  Click here to see it!  I was super excited to see what she had to say!  :o)

Be sure to check out Motivation Monday...I found a really cute quote!  :o)   Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thankful Thursday!

Today is Thankful Thrusday...here is how it works!  I have so many people that I want to say "Thanks" to that I want to take some time to highlight each of them!  At the same time I want to say "Thanks" to my loyal readers so at the end of each post I will run a sale!

This cutie is Little Miss G.  She is the sweet daughter of my very good friend Sarah! Little Miss G. has been a blessing from the start.  Sarah and I met through our husbands about 6 years ago!  We have one of those relationships that no matter how much time passes due to our crazy lives we just pick up where we left off.  There are not many people that I talk with for long periods on the phone, but when Sarah and I talk we might has well clear the next hour, because we can talk!  I am not sure what we talk about, but all I know is rarely do we have a quick chat!  :o)

From day one Sarah has been my biggest cheerleader.  She has been there to listen to me vent when ever I've needed, she always has a shoulder ready when I need it.  I know that any time I am excited about anything or need someone (other than Bubba) she is there ready to lend me her ear!  For this I am thankful for our friendship!  Thank you Sarah for everything!

Little Miss G. is wearing a light pink with a chocolate brown button from the Solid Collection!

In honor of Little Miss G. any item from the Solid Collection is 20% off!!!  That includes headbands, regular clips, mini clips, & Hats/Beanies!  Sale ends tonight at 11:59 pm!!!

Please e-mail @ littleboocreations@gmail.com with any questions or orders!  Thanks!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday!

This is my answer for dressing up short hair!  I have had so much fun making these!  It took a little practice since you use a candle to help make the petals, but I finally got the hang of it!  They are $9 and available in any color you can imagine!  They can be worn in your hair or as a pin (but they are a little floppy)!  I just made a black and hot pink one that is so sweet with just a touch of rock n'roll!!

TuTu Tuesday!!!

Introducing the Cupcake Tutu...

I would have to say that this is one of my favorites (although it is hard to choose, I love them all)!  It was designed with the very sweet little Ella in mind!  Ella is 5 years old and is FULL of life!  She is the daughter of my good friend Amy, who just so happens to own Scrumdiddlyumptious Bakery!  The Tutu can be done in Chocolate or Vanilla with your choice of top color for the icing!  I am also working on adding sprinkles to it!  This specific tutu has a little over 75 yards of tulle in ivory and light pink icing.  Pair it with a cute pair of leggings for the perfect look!!!

Now that the weather is getting warmer I really want to do a photo shoot with all the Tutu's!  So I am on the hunt for a photographer that will work with my "tiny, tiny" budget, models for all my tutu's, and an awesome location!  I kind of have a picture in my head of what I want, but I have to find a place to match that picture!  I constantly reminding myself "One day at a time"!

If you ever are looking for a specific Tutu, let me know and I am always up for a challenge!  Hope you have a "sweet" day!  :o)

Motivation Monday

"You can have anything you want - if you want it badly enough.  You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose." ~Abraham Lincoln

This quote is a perfect fit for me!  For the first Motivation Monday I thought I would share a little about myself.  I am married to a wonderful man (that we will call Bubba) and we have one little boy (Boo) and two cats!  Some of you know that I was (well still am technically) an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay.  I love Mary Kay and everything it has done for me, but I didn't love selling it.  I loved helping women feel beautiful and playing makeup, but getting new leads and leading parties was WAY out of my comfort zone and I struggled.  So I spent a lot of time praying, talking to friends and family, and searching for something that could combine my love for creating things and being able to stay at home with Boo.  I have three nieces and just about everyone of my friends has had a little girl (and I hope one day I am blessed with a little girl)!  I wanted something different to give as gifts so this is how Little Boo came to be.

The first two months have been a whirlwind and probably the easiest I think I am going to have.  Coming up with a name was a little challenging, but once I thought of a name everything fell into place.  Now I am at the place where I have to promote myself and all my creations and I can feel the ground quivering beneath me.  I am so shy and quiet and promoting myself is SO outside of my comfort zone, that almost daily I have to  pull myself from under the bed and tell myself Little Boo Creations is real and people do like it and I am going to be successful!  This is why the quote fit perfect to kick of my Motivation Monday's!!!

This week will be a busy one.  My nieces birthday party is this weekend, so I am working on a special creation for her.  I am hoping to add this "special creation" to the Little Boo Creations soon.  Depending on how it turns out I hope to unveil it on Fun Friday!  I have a couple creations in the works and can't wait to share them!   Today's big goal though is to get a "To Do" list going so that I am not leaving things to the last minute for the April Woodstock Market & Show!  I have a good inventory, so now I get to work on some things I want to add to my creations...Like one of the suggestions I got for matching Mommy & Me totes (love that by the way)!

So now I am off to spend some time with my Boo and hope for a very productive afternoon while my Boo naps!!!  Happy Monday!

Fun Friday!

Whew!  It has been a crazy couple of weeks!  Last week I spent many, many hours getting ready for my first show.  Because of the weather I got a great test run for what a real show will go like.  Truth be told I was a little disappointed because of the weather, but what can you do about Mother Nature?

I have really been struggling on finding topics to blog on, so I decided to come up with some themes.  This is what I came up with...

Motivation Monday ~ I am going to post a motivating quote and set some goals for Little Boo Creations as a    way to keep me motivated, but also keep you (my readers) informed on the happenings of Little Boo Creations.

Tutu Tuesday ~ Each week I will highlight one of my tutu's and tell you a little about each one and what goes into them!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday ~ Each week I will pick one creation to share with you and tell you a little about, but I will try to keep it to a minimum to stick with the (Almost) Wordless Wednesday theme.

Thankful Thursday ~ Now this is the day you want to make sure to check out....I am going to highlight a person that I want to say "Thanks" to, but also as a thanks to you I will pick one collection or item that is 20% off for 24 hours only!!

Fun Friday ~ Just random things.  This will be a day of sharing new creations, Little Boo happenings or just some random fun stuff!

Super Sunday ~ These will not be weekly, but will happen now and then!  Just a day to tell you how my weekend went.  Look out for these, because I am planning something special!  Hint ~ Look for the first one in April!!!

I can't wait to see how the next couple of weeks go.  Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think or if you have any ideas to add!  I'd love to hear from each of you!
