"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections".

I found this quote today and fell in love!  Lately I have been trying so hard to be the perfect Wife, Mama, Friend, Daughter, Sister & Business Owner that I think lost sight of why I started Little Boo in the first place.  I literally was driving myself crazy!  I have been working SO hard and July has been such a GREAT month for Little Boo Creations, but I have not taken one moment out to celebrate!

The ONLY things that I am seeing is how my house is a total wreck and beyond help in the cleaning department...The laundry is piled up and none of it is clean...we have had hot dogs probably 4 nights in the last  week & half.

I have been crazy busy with orders, but did a good job procrastinating and then worked like a mad women to get them done on time and even at that a couple went out late...which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.  But have you ever got to the point where you had SO much to do that you didn't know where to start so you don't start at all???

It is so silly, because I told a good friend that if I would just start, most of the things on my list would not take me very long.  :o)  So I made a list and started checking it off.  My orders got out of the door and it felt SO good to get them delivered.  One of them was a whole sale order and I got to spend some time helping her set them up and and then take a tour of her studio!  It was SO much fun!  Plus I got to hang with Shari from Davey Cakes and that made it extra fun!

But now the piles are getting smaller since I am actually going through them and putting the things away instead of moving them around (which I am really good at).  After reading this quote I am letting go of my idea that being happy means being perfect!  It is okay if my house is not super clean at all times...it is okay that my laundry is piled everywhere...and it is okay that we tend to eat the same thing multiple nights a week!  :o)

The rest of it will get done and if it doesn't that is okay...TODAY I am looking past my imperfections and I am going to be happy...because my heart is full of love, I am loved, and I am doing what I love each and every day!

Here are a couple of pictures for some of the tutus from my orders...

Made Special for a 3 yr old Ballerina ~ Extra Sparkle!  :o)

Happy Monday!

"Happiness is the only good.  The time to be happy is now.  The place to be happy is here.  The way to be happy  is to make other so."

Some Random Thoughts & Information ~

I can't believe how fast time is going these days!  Little Boo Creations is keeping me busier than ever.  One of my goals has been to build a consistent business and I am happy to report that I am on my way to meeting that goal!  A lot of it is because of all of you that have continued to support me and my dream so THANK YOU!!!

Little Boo Creations is now in two little boutiques and I am super excited about it!  It is currently available at Stork Vision Atlanta and will soon be available at Judith Ann Photography (Powder Springs Studio).

Once I finish up my current orders I am going to start on my holiday tutu line...so if you have any suggestions of what you would like to see, please let me know!   As of right now you can look forward to seeing a Witch, Alice in Wonderland & The Queen of Heats, and a Turkey for Thanksgiving!

The Atlanta Baby & Child Expo!

Wow is all I can say after the weekend that I had!  :o)  Last week went by so fast as I was getting ready for the Atlanta Baby & Child Expo!  Saturday started at 5 AM as I got up to get ready for the day!  I was so excited that I got to ride with Angela from Angela's Oven and Shari from Davey Cakes.  From the minute we arrived it was crazy (a good crazy).  As soon as we got set up the VIP's of the event started to arrive.  There were so many vendors and so much neat stuff.  I wish I would have had more time to look around at each vendor!  :o)  I met a lot of really cool vendors, mama's and mama's-to-be (and some Daddy's too)!  It was an amazing experience and I am so honored that I got to be a part of it!  A BIG thank you to Desiree Miller with Bottles to Britches Premier Baby Planners for putting on such an awesome event!

Photo Credit to Angela from Angela's Oven!
I tried to get all my pictures up, so take a look around and let me know what you think!  Also I am really interested in getting some opinions on the functionality of my blog.  Is it easy to navigate and understand how it works?  I am looking into a website with a shopping cart.  I just don't know if I am ready to make the investment, so any opinions would greatly help me in the decision process.

If you registered into the giveaway on Saturday....we will be drawing a winner today!  Make sure you check your email...even if you don't win there will be a special offer from Little Boo Creations & Davey Cakes!

Is It Really Monday???

I am not sure where time is going to???  I have the best intentions to blog daily, but my schedule is crazy (or maybe it is due to not having one)!  When I was working in the Corporate world, I kept a great "to do" list and had a schedule and I had one for home too!  Since having Boo I really have just not been able to keep up with any of the house work or daily chores that should be done!  Like today I am working on my massive laundry pile that has built up from the last two weeks.  I do have to say that for the last two weeks I have kept the dishes out of the sink and not let them pile up!  :o)  7 more days and I will have created a habit instead of a chore!  Haha!  I always thought if I was a stay-at-home mom I would have the perfect house and dinner on the table when the hubby got home...boy was I wrong!!!

Since starting Little Boo Creations I have created even more chaos in my house.  Not only do we not have any extra room for all of the stuff, but now more than ever I feel like I am falling behind in everything.  I just don't feel like I am being a good wife, mommy, friend, business owner, and all of the other obligations that I have in my life.  I kind of feel like I am spreading myself too thin!  :o)  So after I get though this week I am so coming with a schedule!

But this week my focus is on getting ready for the Atlanta Baby & Child Expo.  I am super excited and can't wait to see how it goes (and SO nervous)!!!  Just a couple of the people that I know personally that will be there are Davey Cakes and Angela's Oven.  The Event is being hosted by Bottles to Britches Premier Baby Planners!  There is going to be a ton of giveaways!  So if you are expecting a baby or a mama to kiddo(s) preschool age and younger this is the event for you!  Hope to see you there!  :o)

Enjoy your week!

Hello Monday!

Believe with all your heart that you will do what you were made to do.
~ Orison Swett Marden

So this is what my workspace currently looks like (and this is on the cleaner side)!  Yes, this is my kitchen also...my friend Amy said it is a good thing that I don't cook!  Haha!  I have SO many projects started and really need to finish them!  So my goal this week is to finish a couple orders, finish up the started projects, get my pictures up on the blog, clean up my work space, and be ready for the Woodstock Market & Show by Wednesday!  So that Thursday I will just have to pack all my stuff up and relax!  :o) I am being very hopeful, but I think I can do it!  :o)  The weather looks like it so going to be hot, but beautiful!  I got some new tent weights in so I will not be blowing away this month!  :o)

I have decided that next month I will not wait till the last week of the month to try to get some stuff done!  Haha!  I still haven't finished my Minnie Mouse Tutu (I struggled finding the buttons I use, but I finally have enough).  So today is the day!  I am determined to get it finished and up for Tutu Tuesday!  :o)

(This is what keeps me going some days!)

What do you have on your "To Do" list this week?

Here is to a productive week!  :o)

Thank You, Thank You...

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.  Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame with in us.  ~ Albert Schweitzer

Red, White & Cute....

Oh Say Can You See...

I don't think my photography skills do this tutu justice...but the picture still turned out cute!  I wanted to do something for the 4th of July...so what is more perfect than an American Flag Tutu!  :o)  This tutu is about 75 yards of tulle in red, white, & blue.  It is accented with white felt stars and a red, white, & blue ribbon bow.  To top it off it comes with a matching flower clip and headband.
***The shirt is not included, for photo use only.***

***Ribbon & Flowers may vary due to availability!***
***For ordering information please see the "Tutu" page!***
